Updates!

Good afternoon everyone. Only a little more than 2 WEEKS until I leave for training camp! I’m getting excited and I can’t believe it’s coming up this fast. I’m awaiting some vaccines and other medical related things that are necessary for this trip and just trying to do what I can to prepare. I’ve been praying that God will help me be spiritually prepared for training camp and all that it’ll require of me and my team. So far he has been fulfilling these prayers! Since getting back from our month long trip around the country I have been spending more time in prayer and worship. I often struggle with spiritual apathy and disengagement, so I’m hoping to grow in these areas during my final days at home and even more at training camp. I also have some exciting announcements:

Today I passed $10,000 in fundraising! That’s well over halfway to the total, and I couldn’t have made it this far without all of your generous support and prayer. Passing 10k is yet another reminder of how good God is being to me in this and how blessed I am to have received all the support that I have. In this final 2 weeks (!!!) before launch, I will be hosting an adopt-a-box project to continue fundraising at this time. I’ll post more about this on social media with details about how it will work. As of right now I have only $3,750 left to raise (I’m accounting for the lump sum of my monthly donations in that calculation) and if every box on this adopt-a-box project gets filled it will raise a total of $2,400! I will post the rest of the details on social media. I’m excited about it and I think it’ll be fun!
